Cassava Production
Rimato Agro manages 100 acres of cassava, focusing on improved and disease-resistant varieties such as TME-419, TMS 1368, Game-Changer, and Sunshine. These high-starch, fast-maturing varieties are chosen for their adaptability to local conditions and their high market demand.
Our cassava operations are structured for both fresh root harvesting and potential future processing into products like garri, fufu,cassava flour and industrial starch. We are also exploring cassava value chain expansion, including peel utilization and biofuel prospects.

1. Crop Production
Rimato Agro focuses on the commercial cultivation of high-value crops. Our farm is structured for both monoculture and intercropping systems, allowing us to maximize land use and agricultural yield. Cashew Plantation
One of the major highlights of our agricultural operations is our 300-acre cashew plantation. We cultivate premium cashew varieties, including Jumbo, Brazilian, and Early Shooter, selected for their superior yield, resistance, and adaptability.
Our cashew journey begins in our controlled nursery facility, where seedlings are nurtured under optimal conditions before being transplanted into the field. This nursery-to-field model allows us to monitor plant health from the earliest stage, improving survival rates and increasing long-term productivity. The plantation is carefully maintained with precision agronomic practices and regular assessments to ensure continuous growth and maximum yield.
Maize Production
We cultivate maize across 100 acres, primarily through intercropping within our cashew fields, optimizing space and enhancing soil fertility. Maize plays a crucial role in our crop rotation and soil health management plan, and we rely on climate-smart practices to ensure resilience and steady yields. The maize harvested serves both commercial markets and internal use, including potential use in future livestock feed processing.
